Scholarship Fund Application
The expansion of girls in sports is real, and people from this city and across the country have proven it by raising enough funds to support 30 athletes from underserved communities, single-parent households, and low-income families to play in STRIKE LEAGUE.
The recipients of these grants will have their registration fees waived and their uniforms covered. We aim to eliminate barriers that may prevent any deserving girl from participating in flag football.
We encourage all girls interested in playing to apply, but preference will be given to athletes who demonstrate effort and discipline in the classroom first. We want to recognize the importance of being a student-athlete.
How to apply on Mobile
The most efficient way for athletes to apply for the scholarship is through our Playmetrics app. We’ll show you step-by-step on how to do it below:
To request financial aid, navigate to the "Programs" (1) tab located on the bottom menu. Select the dropdown arrow next to "Programs" on the top left-hand side of the screen and click “Financial Aid” (2).
On the financial aid screen, you can review our financial aid policy before requesting assistance. Click the Plus Sign (3) button to begin the scholarship grant request process.
Next, select the Player(s) that need aid and fill out the scholarship form. Once you have completed the form, click the “Submit Request” (4) button.
Finally, you will see a pop-up message informing you that your request has been submitted, and you will receive a notification and email from STRIKE when a decision regarding your financial aid request has been made.
How to apply on Desktop
To request a grant, navigate to “Club Programs” (1) located in the left-hand menu and click the “Financial Aid” (2) tab in the resulting view. From here, you can review the STRIKE LEAGUE’s financial aid policy before requesting assistance.
Click the "Request Financial Aid" (3) button to begin the grant request process.
Next, select the Player(s) that need aid and fill out the scholarship form. Once you have completed the form, click the “Submit Request” (4) button.
Finally, you will see a pop-up message informing you that your request has been submitted, and you will receive a notification and email from STRIKE when a decision regarding your financial aid request has been made.
If Your Application Is Accepted…
Return to the original registration link and fill in your athlete’s information like normal. When you reach the end, you’ll note that the grant has taken effect, and your athlete will officially be in the system!
